Tarjac's Customer Agility Program is design to move leading edge technologies and concepts to the market at unprecedented speeds.
To support this program, Tarjac is pleased to announce the addition of the following team members:
Dave Coville - Dave has assumed the position of Operations Manager - Special Programs. Wesley's competitive nature, coupled with his love of the outdoors and his aptitude for technology make him a valuable part of the Customer Agility Program. Tarjac, Inc. to Add Silk Screen Printing
Waterloo, NY - January 19th, 2011 - Tarjac, Inc. announces the addition of Silk Screening capabilities to its portfolio of finishing services with production beginning immediately. The process was added to meet the needs of a new program secured by Tarjac in late 2010.
Silk Screening is a printing process used to apply single and multi-color text and logos commonly seen on consumer products. While Tarjac already has pad-printing capabilities in place for smaller image applications, Silk Screen printing has fewer size limitations and works well with larger images and on larger products.
The new process enables Tarjac to offer its customers more options in the design and placement of logos and text on their products. Silk Screening will typically be employed in conjunction with Tarjac's other finishing capabilities such as hydrographics, color coating, clear coating, sublimation, and EMI/RFI Shielding.

Tarjac Enters the Paintball Market With Nu-Skin Coatings
Two weeks ago while hanging out at Skyline Paintball in Virginia for BlackCat's scenario game we found out about a company that's not new, but new to paintball.
Tarjac, located in northern New York, is offering some amazing finishes for paintball markers, marker parts and accessories like hoppers and other add-ons.
Tarjac can custom finish a single part (like a hopper) for as little as about $35 or they can do your entire paintball marker--price will vary on the number of parts. But the bottom line is they will do one-off runs, no problem. At the field Susan ( susan@tarjac.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) from Tarjac gave us the rundown of their finishing process, their company history and told us about some of the projects the company has worked on, including doing some work with Orange County Choppers. Interested? Contact Susan here: susan@tarjac.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and tell her you heard about Tarjac at PaintballX3.com.

Tarjac, Inc. is a unique finishing service provider that uses a market-moving technology known as Fluid Imaging Technology (FIT), a three-dimensional printing process. FIT hydrographically applies decorative finishes to products to enhance the value of these items in the marketplace. The FIT process is the most robust and cost-effective means by which products with irregular or uneven surfaces can be decorated.
Tarjac began operating in January of 1989 as a custom decorative paint job shop and in 1996 licensed the FIT process. Tarjac has been known since its inception as a leading product finisher to the hunting industry. During its' 14 year history, Tarjac has gone from a small custom camouflage painting operation servicing the hunting industry to a larger volume finishing service provider working in a variety of industries.

Here is Daira Shea. She says "I don't hunt a lot , but when I do it must be with style!!" Daira's gun was done in Black Marble on Lavender here at Tatjac.

Tarjac, Inc. was named after Cindy and Larry’s two children. Tara and Jacob. Tara is working with us here at Tarjac In the shipping Dept. Jacob is no longer with us at Tarjac, he is instead flying with the angels in heaven. Jacob was an avid hunter. He had been hunting since around 6 years old. He especially loved hunting with his dad, then making his mom come see his prize. Last summer (2006) Jacob was taken from us here and brought to the angels after a car accident. We love and miss you Jacob. R.I.P.

Jacob didn’t just limit his hunting abilities to hunting just deer and ducks. As you can see he was a great fisherman too! He loved anything that kept him outside.
Larry and Cindy Salerno originally had a lawn and garden business. The craftsmanship that eventually led to the business success was one of Larry's hobbies. The business started when Larry, an avid bow hunter, received a gift from the marketing manager of Oneida Bow. Larry decided he could improve on the bow's camouflage pattern using an airbrushing process. When the president of Oneida Bow saw Larry's improvements on the bow, he asked Larry to produce more for him. He first asked for 10 and then started to send orders for 50 a month. The business was now born in the Salerno's back yard shed. When the orders increased to 100 per month, they hired their first employee. The business then expanded from just camouflaging hunting bows to shotguns, rifles and pistols. Soon the business was generating more money than the lawn and garden business so the Salernos closed the original business.
The Salernos visited the SBDC in the early 90's for assistance in securing financing for expanding the business. They returned to the SBDC in 1996 for assistance in funding further expansion and facilitating the installation of equipment for a new camouflage dipping process.
The Salernos currently employ 70 individuals and have added a 14,000 square foot addition on to the existing 24,000 square foot building in Seneca County, an area that has had significant job losses in recent years. The NYSSBDC named Tarjac "Manufacturer of the Year" in 1996.
